Art For Goons (AFG) was established on September 10, 2020, by Robert “Rob” Cunningham, with the aim to change the narrative around black and brown people being destined to be troublemakers or “goons”. Since creating Art For Goons, Rob has been doing his best to bring a positive power and light to the word “goon” when referring to the black and brown people who shape the world by showing everyone that these Goons are creatives, innovators, and leaders that have so much to bring to the table that is the world.
Since then, Rob has showcased his poetry, self-publishing three poetry books and countless pieces of significant and beautiful photography featuring countless black and brown faces.
Art For Goons officially became an LLC on April 9, 2024. It’s never too late to lock in.
