At the top of the day, a bird pooped on me, and it was at that exact moment I knew this day was going to be special—one for the books. I’m glad that I wasn’t disappointed because the AFG BBQ was an excellent example of what happens when a community supports a brand or movement.

The turnout was phenomenal, the vibes were unforgettable, and the people were so excited to be present in celebrating a huge milestone for Art For Goons, as the BBQ was the first official in-person event. The intention was to give back to the community by offering free food and a place to unite and celebrate more life and power to our people.

This event also launched the first official AFG merchandise. It solidified the end of a chapter but not an era for the brand. There is much more work to do, but we’re glad we could at least celebrate the greatness we have achieved so far.

Thank you to everyone who came out for AFG, from the setup team to the attendees. You have my heart. It means the world to me and then some more. I’m happy that people love Art For Goons.
